I think I have a problem with efficiency.

I price my services by the hour because that makes sense to me. I have an idea of how many hours I want to work (not that many) and the standard of living I want (comfortable, with travel and tuitions). Based on that I set an hourly rate.

My problem is that doing things well, or even very well, seems to not take as long as I expect. This generally makes my clients happy. But it makes me want more clients. Because the ones I have don’t keep me busy, even though I’m doing good work for them.

Anyone else have this problem? Thoughts?
